Are You The Same?

Are You What You Want To Be?

Living in a materialistic world, it’s easy to become what you own. Pride is a solitary emotion, one that is so versatile yet destructive when tested by somebody else.

If I was to strip you bare from all you possess, would you still see yourself as the same person you are now?

Inspiration, the gateway to success.

Often we catch ourselves giving up before we try. It’s always been so easy to tell people what you want to accomplish, but the words alone hype the feeling of satisfaction. Subconsciously the positive reinforcement from others is recognised as an accomplishment in our brain. We usually don’t put the effort in unless somebody else recommends or encourages us to do so.

I’ve always wanted to be able to inspire people to fulfill their dreams and passions. It’s a powerful feeling being inspired. That singular emotion is probably my favourite. With passion comes dedication and with dedication comes actions. Inspiration is something you give to somebody else, not something you create on your own. It’s the power of having somebody else believe you can, that turns the passion into dedication. This is why we often find ourselves giving up on the thoughts we already received recognition and praise for. When people believe in you, you push yourself. When they congratulate you, you sit comfortably, the reward is already received.

If you inspire somebody else to achieve their dreams, you yourself, realise how much can be accomplished if you put your mind to work. As long as you have support and a strong will to succeed you can accomplish absolutely anything that comes your way. The words you speak to others become you.

If we all just believed in everybody else more, together we would become a powerful force that can change the world for the better. Self-doubt is a mirror image of doubt in others. If you can’t trust somebody else to succeed, you can’t trust yourself to either. Somewhere along the way, I think society got too caught up in their individual success; too much greed in wealth that we created an unrealistic vision that success is only measured by the amount of money you make each week. We stopped being unique and started being caught in the web of time, fearful that other people are going to climb the ladder and replace us. Success isn’t about how long you stay number one, it’s about how you handle the criticism and accept that we are all human. We all deserve the inspiration and drive. We all should be supporting each other in the smaller achievements that separate us from just the economical rat race. You possess great skill in what you do for profit, but don’t let that role be all you progress in. Life’s too short to be ambitious in only one field of profession.

You will only ever feel success when you can respectively recognise the achievements other people have made. If you can congratulate yourself for all your hard work, you definitely should be able to appreciate the people still running to get ahead. Keep running! Don’t ever give up.

You are the words you speak to others. Competition is healthy, but appreciation is free.

Can you recognise your reflection?

WhatsApp Image 2019-11-20 at 7.23.43 PM

Did you know that your influence in this world is bigger than you believe?

People will follow in your footsteps. Human nature has taught us to follow. No matter what you do, good or bad, there’s no reason to hide from yourself or your dreams.

You will soon reflect and recognise that your influence is the same influence you can find in someone else. It’s the same feeling you get when somebody else inspires you. Once you notice your influence on somebody, it’s hard to recognise it as your own.

When people do as you do, especially when it’s something you know they shouldn’t be doing, you will notice yourself comparing situations and creating exceptions. This is your energy reflecting. Without comparison, there’s no exciting better.  Without better, there’s nothing, so learn and grow together, be proud of yourself. The good and bad are all experiences we need to promote personal change.

If you make excuses for your behavior, your influence will frighten you. Don’t stop being yourself because your reflection is something you don’t recognise when presented in the form of another person. Instead, take responsibility and be ready to grow with yourself. Before every butterfly comes a caterpillar. But don’t forget about the cacoon you created to help start the spiral of transformation and achievement. We are all creatures of similarity and repetition, patterns are easy to continue but change is always what our nightmares are made of.

The way you paint the story is the only dividing difference.

Dream a bigger dream…

The Whimsical Nonsense of my Abstract Thoughts

I’ve been here before, have you?

I want to believe the solace thoughts I’ve had imprinted; just like how tagging cattle creates an identity, my thoughts brand me.

I was pure; you were too. It’s how we choose to continue our learning that changes that.

I’ve always belonged to somebody. We always have if you shift perception. Whether it be our family, our school or our work. Sometimes we keep where we belong, sometimes we change, sometimes they change; regardless of our control. No matter what happens, we are always searching for our place, branding ourselves by expanding ourselves. But creating life isn’t about bringing a child into the world, it’s about living comfortably in your creation.

We live in a socially connected world where our emotions are never the same as somebody else’s due to our perception of those emotions. Is this connection what we need? As much as we try to relate to how others feel, there’s an incoherent disconnect in what we naturally crave and how we explain the captured correlations between them. Our brand is connection.

Together we are the future, the past and the present; we are all storytellers here. Our lives and how we enjoy our time in the world we created internally are promised through stories shared in reminiscence or goals externally. Nostalgia plays an important part in the creation of safety and hope; it’s about how we progress from there. Learning to accept or reject, it’s always about connection. You can never be that age again and you will never get to experience your stories physically again. How do you recreate them through your choice of words and actions? You only get one chance to experience them, but a lifetime to relay them to the other people you want to belong to. Choose carefully how you want the message portrayed, we can’t see through your eyes but we will try if you tell it right.

Nothing is true; do you control your life? Nothing is false; does your life control you? I’ve been here before, have you?

Together we are the future, the past and the present; we are all storytellers here.

Are you, you?

Be what you knew, before you were taught to be.

I remember being somebody else. I remember being more than one person actually while trying to find who I am. The memories that frolic upon my consciousness are consciously waiting for me to remember what I was here for.

Do you remember the first time you realised you were alive, or that you were good at something? Do you remember believing in fairies and dragons until somebody told you they were all just made up to amuse children and to spark imagination? Or were you the one that told them? Do you remember you? The passionate, erratic symbolicness of memories still haunt me to my core. I don’t understand how swallowing your dreams is an acceptable outcome from societies view because your dream isn’t profitable to make the world go round.

Now I bet you see your first thoughts in the form of a small child, young and free; excited, afraid, anticipating yet awaiting what life had to offer. When people told you that being a dinosaur was an unrealistic path and that it was time to grow up and be apart of the real world… was that the beginning of you allowing people to craft you into something you no longer recognise or is that something you like to forget too? It’s easy to stop trying to remember and easier to let life blow you around like a tumbleweed in the wind; life’s about chance and luck, you don’t always get the short end of the stick though.

It scares me how easily manipulated our thoughts are when we are young, yet even moreso that we let ourselves forget; to fit inside the doll house we left beside our bed each night, hoping that the dolls will wake you up with their chatter, just longing to belong inside your own imaginary world. One day I will be great. One day I will be old enough… to be the same as everybody else?

Grow up!
